Dear Mr. and Mrs. Lorenza,

Apparently, if my seven year old son wakes during the night, he has the habit of getting up and looking out his bedroom window to see how far away morning is. On the night of April 29/30th he did this and saw a strange object in the sky. That night was windy with rain showers. This thing must have been very low as he could see the windows in it, he said it was black and white striped, coming to a point at the back from where a blue light was shining – down to his window. He couldn’t hear any noise and said it was travelling very slowly.

I am sorry he did not awaken me, but out of fright he jumped back to bed instead. He knows absolutely nothing about spacecraft or that they exist so has seen this with a completely innocent mind.

I have been in touch with Dr. Max Edwards, who has told me about your club which I would like to join. Sorry I have been so long about writing to you but the experience has convinced me a bit, especially as I am now on my own with 3 young children with no husband for manual support.

Enclosed is Richard’s own drawing of it. [Drawing not available] I would appreciate it if you could tell me anything about this particular spaceship that he has seen.
