Red Lights North Of Williams Lake

Williams Lake, BC - March 15, 1968

APRO Files

I was driving north on the Quesnel Highway about 8 o’clock Thursday night. I was about ¼ mile south of the Jamboree Motel, when I saw red lights in the sky. I pulled the car off the road and got out to watch them. At first they seemed like large red stars but not when they changed their position to each other. They seemed to be raising and lowering in the sky. While they did this they were moving steadily north. Then I got into my car and followed them. As I followed them, they were to the east of the place I first sighted them and to the east of the Quesnel Highway. Two miles up the highway I stopped again to get a better look. When I left the car I lost sight of one of them. The other one, a few minutes later, it dropped balls or blobs of fire and then vanished.
