The Spaceship in the Cavern

In the fall of 2000, I made a visit to my parents in Cochrane. While I was there we had some discussions about UFOs. My parents had invited a friend over for a visit. They felt I would be interested in her drawings, watercolours and her UFO dream story. I found all to be quite interesting, and I got her painting of the UFO in her dream and her dream account from her. I later used these pieces as part of an article I wrote about “UFO Dreams and Visions – A Part of the Phenomenom?”.

Later in the visit, I had been telling my parents some UFO related stories. My dad decided to tell me about a dream he had a few years ago. In the dream, he was driving back to Cochrane after visiting my brother in Canmore. He stopped at a spot by the Bow River (note: he must have been driving on the 1A highway which is his favorite route as it is more picturesque than the main highway one route. The 1A route does come quite close to the Bow River in places. He saw a large group of aliens who looked “quite human” standing by the river. A young alien had fallen in the river and was struggling in its current. All of the aliens were standing by helplessly, as for some reason they could not help her. My father jumped into the river and rescued the young alien. The other aliens were all quite thankful to my father for helping them. They told my father that they had to leave soon. But to show their appreciation, they gave my father a small flying saucer that my dad could summon at any time using mental telepathy. The small saucer was stored in a much larger flying saucer that was the size of a football stadium. This flying saucer was kept inside a cavern beneath a mountain. To get into the cavern, the little saucer would fly into a lake and then into a submerged cavern entrance that led to the cavern where the big saucer was stored.

When I heard the story, I thought that it was odd because I had a memory of a time when I was up in the mountains, probably in Banff National Park. I was with some friends from the Alberta Speleological Society on a caving trip or were out looking to find caverns. We had stopped for lunch by an alpine lake. On the far side of the tiny lake rose a wall of dolomite or limestone. I was looking at this wall and I suddenly had this very strange idea of there being a spaceship stored behind the wall of rock, and that the spaceship could get in and out through a submerged or disguised entrance. It was such a strong perception, that I had to tell my friends about it. I presented my idea it in “what if” terms to see if the idea appealed to them or if any of them had similar ideas. It drew a blank with them.

I somehow have this feeling that if these memories or perceptions of the period of captivity for Moncla and Wilson are true, then maybe the spaceship they were on was kept inside a cavern, and this is where my parents would go using a much smaller craft. Maybe my parents went on more than one occasion and that they would sometimes go alone. Maybe my dad could go there just by summoning the craft in his dreams. This presents a question as to whether these were physical or mental or spirit body encounters.
