A group of about eight scientists from the
Research Council of Alberta is at Lac La Biche looking for a meteorite which
fell Sunday night.
Larry Pondick at the Research Council
said this morning the party chose Lac La Biche because of telephone calls
indicating the meteorite may have landed near there. Houses were shaken by the
force.
Mr. Pondick is an assistant to Dr. L
A. Bayrock, a member of the party.
