If you have had an unexplainable animal death please follow these steps:
- Report the death as soon as possible.
- Do not move the animal.
- Keep people away from the animal.
- Observe carefully if anything unusual was happening with the rest of the
herd.
- If you own a dog, what was it's behavior?
- Time of death, if possible. At night or day time.
- Most important of all take notes while it is fresh in your mind of
anything you might have noticed or observed that was out of the
ordinary. This can be very helpful for my investigation.
